civilization, a vast network of villages in Northern Mexico. Juan Quezada single
handily revived the
Casas Grandes ceramic tradition. By ther revived teachings of
Juan Quezada the potters of Mata Ortiz use ancestral symbols
and creative design to bring back to life the art of handmade, coiled
pots or ollas, following after the old methods of their ansesters.
